Having reached the goal of 5 Crowns in British Photographic Exhibitions I thought I would try my hand in International Exhibitions. I entered my first International exhibition in Sep 2021 and to date I have entered 48 in 36 different countries. So far I have gained 734 acceptances from 159 images and have also gained 109 awards from 55 images.
In July 2023 I achieved the first level of distinction (Artiste) with the Federation Internationale de l’Art Photographique (FIAP) for 40 acceptances from 15 images in 15 different salons in 8 different countries. One year later I achieved the next level of distinction (Excellence) with FIAP for 250 acceptances from 50 images in 30 different salons in 20 different countries. On the route to EFIAP I gained 61 awards from the 30 images shown below
I am now have enough acceptances to apply for my EFIAP bronze at the end of this year, this requires a further 200 acceptances from 100 new images. I have also gained a further 36 awards from the 23 images shown below.
In June 2022 I joined the Photographic Society of America (PSA) and also apply for their distinctions based on acceptances in international exhibitions. So far I have gained the second level of Recognition of Photographic Achievement (Proficiency) for 288 acceptances from 96 images.
