Club

I joined the Lytham St Annes Photographic Society (LSAPS) at the beginning of the 2015-16 season. Initially I only went along to keep a friend company but saw a talk by Gary Waidson which was excellent, so I joined up. I entered the competitions as a way of gauging my standard and found that I did quite well. I moved straight through the groups from Beginners to Intermediate and then Intermediate to Advanced.  The Club holds an annual Photoshow at the end of the season and this is another opportunity to get your images judged.

My achievements in the Club over the last season were as follows:

  • Photoshow PDI Mono – Highly Commended and Commended
  • Photoshow PDI Nature – 2nd
  • Photoshow PDI People 1st

  • Photoshow Print Colour – 3rd, Highly Commended and Commended
  • Photoshow Print Mono – Highly Commended and Commended
  • Photoshow Print People – 3rd and Commended
  • Photoshow Print Scapes  – 1st (Best in Show) and Highly Commended
  • Season PDI – 1st
  • Season Print – 1st
  • Digital Photographer of the Year
